I had the opportunity to capture this amazing family during a recent in-home newborn session in Forest Hills, Queens and it just filled my soul. This mama and her two babes were so connected with each other and it showed in every capture I made. In-home sessions are a perfect way to feel relaxed, enjoy some authentic moments, and still create stunning art that you can treasure.
Baby boy Calderon was born with a full head of hair and the best cheeks! I remind my clients all the time that our sessions are an extension of their vision and that is why each session is unique. During this newborn session we used just one window, the sofa area and the rug right in front of the sofa. That is all. Nothing fancy is needed to make beautiful photos, only the pure connection between the family and the new addition.

Let's face it, having a newborn is hard, and having another child {or more} around can make things a tad bit harder. When I come to the home I first work on making connections with the whole family and identifying how to make everyone everyone feel comfortable. My art is is built around connection. That is why during our sessions we doing focus on poses, but rather we create moments that I can capture on camera to allow you to treasure for years to come.
