Meeting baby Toni, was a dream.
When I began speaking to these amazing parents about their newborn session before their baby girl was born, I quickly felt a connection to them. They wanted an in-home session, and they wanted to capture some special heirlooms from their family members who had passed. I couldn't wait to photograph this beautiful family.
When I arrived at the home of Justine and Michael I quickly felt their love and the lightness in their humor towards this new beautiful beginning to their story. My main goal upon arriving at the home of my clients is to find the best light, and plan how I can best tell their story. After doing this I get to talking to my clients about what, if any, special items they may want to include int heir session. And these beautiful folk surly had some gorgeous pieces to use. A stunning black fur from her grandmother, and a necklace that belonged to his dad. We made sure the pieces were highlighted in a special way. An authentic way.
Newborn photography to me is special, and should not be cookie cutter. It should tell a story, an important story that is your life. My goal is to always create a special experience that my clients will remember and can see through their images.
My session with Baby Toni was a dream because I was able to capture the love between these two humans who together gave life to a fantastic child.
